Laminated glass, also know as safety glass, will hold together even when shattered. Typically
use where if glass falls it would shatter. Perfect example of where laminated glass
woud be used is skylights and car windows. laminated glass is manufactued by bonding
two or more layers of glass together with a plastic interlayer(PVB).

A typical laminated makeup would be 3 mm glass / 0.38 mm interlayer / 3 mm glass.
This gives a final product that would be referred to as 6.38 laminated glass.
